Interview
Applied online, had an email asking me to attend an interview at a certain time and place. I arrived to find about another 20 people waiting. Had no idea it was a group interview so a little daunting as never had one before.
Did icebreaker so find out and tell everyone the persons name sitting next to you, an interesting fact about them and what animal they would be. Then had to work as a group with people on our table to build a tower from marshmallows and spaghetti!
Overall was ok just waiting on a reply now to see of i got through to the next stage of 1 to 1 interviews.
Would of been nice to have known it was a group but in hindsight would of probably put me off going.
straightforward question, nothing too challenging, interviewers were very friendly and relaxed and listened really well. Interview lasted around 25 minutes and found out i got the job in less than a week
A casual chat with the manager. Mainly focussed on availability and proximity to the store. Gave brief background and was told about the role and what it entails. The interview will vary manager to manager so any prep will help
It is a casual discussion. They really want to know how you handle tough customers and how quickly you can pick up work. As well as flexibility with time. As they need people to be multiskilled. Working back and front of house.
