Formal interview (panel of 3) following a fairly open-ended application form and CV. I knew two of the three interviewees already, which made it easier, but it was still pretty stiff. There seemed to be a disparity between the work described in the advert and that described in the interview. I left the office absolutely certain that I wouldn't get offered the job (which I did).
