Initial 30 minute telephone screening interview with one of the hiring managers to discuss the role and my cv in more detail. This was followed by a formal interview the following week. Was asked more basic questions about my experience. One of the interviewers was a Scotsman with a weird sense of humour which I found really off putting. I'm all for making interviews somewhat light hearted and having a laugh with the interviewers but I wish they'd been a little more professional in this case. I was ultimately declined the role due to lack of experience - I feel they wasted my time here as I raised this as a concern in the screening interview, to which I was told I had a the right leve of experience. In my view they could have made the same conclusion following the telephone interview and saved us all a bit of time. Unless of course they didn't select me for another reason, in which case they were dishonest with their feedback. Overall it's left me with a poor view of Atkins.
