I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bio-Techne in Mar 2025
Interview
The recruitment was made out of 3 parts: a 30 min call with a recruiter, 60 min call with the hiring manager, and a panel.
The recruiter call went well. The hiring manager interview went okay but it felt like I was being asked the same question that was worded differently 2 or 3 times.
I received no communication for 3 weeks after the hiring manager interview and voluntarily pulled out of the hiring process. I do not appreciate companies who ghost their candidates and repost the same position a couple of weeks later.

Question 1
How is this position different from your current one?
I had the absolute worst experience interviewing with one of the recruiters in the molecular area for this account manager role. This recruiter was very unprofessional when setting up the interview and was more concerned with starting his Memorial Day holiday early (the words were used verbatim in our exchange), which is completely understandable as anyone would love to finish work early to start their weekend, but he made it known how much talking to me as a candidate was a waste of time. During our phone call he was completely rude in asking questions, his tone completely unfriendly and it was very clear he did not want to speak to me, did not take an interest at all in me as a human being or candidate, and was completely condescending when asking me some technical questions that he probably didn’t even know the answers to. Please don’t waste your time with a company who clearly does not have their best representing their company. I’m sorry it was such an inconvenience to speak to me before a holiday weekend, but it could have been better hidden.
HR professional first with general questions like salary etc. Then you meet with the manager to interview and walk around. You also meet the team to see if you are a good fit.
