I applied for two different positions at Biogen in the past few months. I had a scheduled initial screening with recruiter for both positions. The calls went very well, good information shared, high level of energy and interest on both sides. Each call ended with the recruiter explaining the process and next steps. Both times, I never heard back from the recruiter. Of course I followed up with each after a week and never heard back from either! If the recruiters - the face of this company to prospective employees - can act so unprofessionally and with such disrespect to a candidate's time and energy (mine in this case), why would anyone work for such a company!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions: why are you interested in this role and in Biogen, walk me through your work history (this question is a joke! You see my work history in my resume and on my Linkedin profile if you took time to read both. Look at my history and address aspects of my prior work and skills that match what you're looking for!)
Recruiters who ask these ridiculous questions and then show disrespect to the candidate by not responding to them after their interview need to either find another profession or get some coaching!
