      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2009

      Interview

Initial interview was a phone interview - standardized behavioral questions. Once that was completed, I was contacted for an on-site interview. On-site interview consisted of two interviews: 1. One-on-one interview with a manager & employee, and 2. Group case interview (you were put into groups and were instructed to come up with a solution to a case). Received news of offer fairly shortly after (the next day).

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing (Everett, WA) in Jan 2008

      Interview

I applied online via Boeing jobs. I went in for a group/panel interview consisting of two managers of different groups (one of whom is my current manager) and the lead developer of my current group (who is also my mentor). Each of them had a set of questions that focused mainly on my school and internship experiences being that I am a college hire. In short, I had to prove why my experience and knowledge made me the right choice for the job over 20+ other qualified candidates. For anyone applying to a huge corporation, it's very important that you understand what the company is looking for. Since I've interned at Boeing before, I know that the people who interview you are usually the ones you will be working with when hired. Thus, I geared my answers towards exactly they were looking for and did not waste any time blurting out things nobody wanted to hear. Basically, be yourself, go straight to the point and 9 times out of 10 you will come out on top.

      Question 1

You have no real world experience with what this job requires. If presented with an assignment/project with real world demands and deadlines, how will you meet these needs?
