I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied online. Received an email in a week. One phone call with HR lady. Basic questions, interests and why this position and on business case. People here have put several questions and that gives a pretty good idea of such cases. At the end of the phone call she already set up second interview. She sent me an email and explained me well as to what would be expected. Spoke to two data scientist. Described a project I was working on and discussed one business case problem. Within two hour I received a call that the feedback was good and they would like to invite me to Amsterdam for a face to face interview. In the next phone call they gave me the feedback from the last interview and explained me well as to what they expect and what are the areas I should think of giving better answers. They arranged for my trip. On the day of face to face interview, spoke to HR lady. She was very nice again and explained well again the previous feedback and their expectations. Then spoke to 2 data scientist for one hour. Described a project and two business case model. Another one hour session with similar setup, but first business case problem took too long for us to reach to the second one. Over all very good experience and seems like everyone works in pretty much agile environment and they can make their decisions very fast. Due to my travel plans yet not been contacted about the job offer yer.
