I had three panel interviews focused on past program and people management. The two 1:1s were focused on soft skills and management. Overall, the questions were aligned with the position and expected performance.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Elevance Health (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2019
Interview
I made it through 6 interviews for a senior-level role, including in-person interviews with the Hiring Manager and then heard nothing. It's been weeks and I have not heard anything. I am always amazed at companies who tout the "candidate experience", but really have no real interest in the candidate experience - clearly. There were red flags from the moment I spoke with the hiring manager the first time, but I really wanted to be open and ensure that my expectations weren't over the top. Those red flags were right on target. Anthem says they are interested in Diversity - they aren't. They say they aren't a old boys club - they aren't, but they are still a non-POC club. The hiring manager that I interviewed with was focused on who I "knew" and my connections. That was problem #1 for me. Anyway, they have a nice building. The Admins are great. The leaders...I would never work for the HM I interviewed with.
