I applied in-person. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2015
Interview
It was a group interview with 8 of us. The interview was with the store and hiring manager. First we all went around to introduce ourselves and then they asked all of us individual questions. After that we went back in the store to put together an outfit for a given scenario. Mine was just a summer day outfit, which was easy. They told us we should hear from them by Monday to let us know if we got the job. Tuesday morning they called me saying I was hired! I wasn't intimidated at all and the managers were really nice. As long as you show personality and style the process should be easy. Just be yourself.
It was an in-person interview. It was very easy, and a standard retail interview. lasted around 10 minutes. The manager asked some scenario questions but overall, the questions were pretty straightforward.
It was a casual group interview. I sat down with a manager and another girl who was applying. They just asked a few standard questions about us and our experience.
Interviewer did not seem very experienced. He was rushing the interview and only asked general questions such as where do you see yourself in 10 years… for an entry level job.
