Interview
Started with an HR screen that described the company culture and 1-2 behavior questions. The next step was with the hiring manager, a few technical panels. Lots of behavioral / situational questions. Interview was done onsite but some of the panel interviewers were onsite and virtual.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Genentech in Oct 2021
Interview
Got a phone interview with a some kind of engineer. The interviewer was young and surprisingly unqualified. Didn't expect this from Genentech. By the end of the interview I told her I was not interested in the position anymore. Decided to stay at my current job and not to apply to Genentech, at least for now.
