I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Sept 2016
Interview
I applied online and was contacted about a week later to set up a phone screening with a recruiter. The recruiter was very friendly and easy to talk to but asked thorough questions to make sure I was prepared for a sales career at HubSpot. After the initial phone screening, I was asked to interview with a sales manager. The sales manager was great to talk with and asked more general background questions. After this interview, I was invited to come in to HubSpot's Cambridge office for an in person interview.
The in person interview process consisted of a quick office tour and three half hour interviews with middle and upper level sales managers. Overall, I felt that everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and conversational. The recruiter I had been working with contacted me the following day to ask me about my interview process and to give me some feedback. I was very impressed with the entire HubSpot process and felt that the whole experience was aimed to help candidates shine.

Interview
Not to hard, but not easy. It was a standard sales interview, with the usual questions. There was a lot of time in between each step, is my only complaint.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Three rounds - call with recruiter, call with Sales Manager, and in person interviews with a few people on the sales team (Inbound Sales Coordinator & Sr. Manager of BDR's). Super straightforward interview process if you are prepared and willing to show you've researched the company and position. Be ready to explain why sales, why sales at HubSpot, why inbound marketing, what you know about inbound marketing, challenges in group settings, biggest accomplishments, strengths, weaknesses, and why sales is a good career path for you.
In person interviews were casual and conversational which was great - they make you feel really comfortable!! Love the HubSpot team and the interview process was transparent.
