I applied through an add on my university's career website and was contacted to set up a phone screening with a recruiter the following week. The recruiter was very friendly but definitely thorough and wanted to make sure that I was prepared for a sales career. After the phone screen I interviewed with a sales director who was extremely nice and asked more general questions about my background. Following this interview I was invited to an in person interview in HubSpot's Cambridge office. The in person interview was three half hour interviews with middle and upper level sales managers. Everyone was professional, friendly, and willing to speak openly about the company culture, structure, and their own personal experiences. A few weeks after the interview I received a call from the recruiter informing me that though they were impressed by my resume but wanted a candidate with more sales experience. I felt that as a whole HubSpot was very professional and aimed to make the experience as stress-free as possible for me.
