Saw job advertised online and applied to HR online and was selected for first interview. Professionally conducted. Lots of interest shown re my current role. Very impressed. I was called to a second interview with the overall head of the labs.

Self introducing myself as an artist is so much more than a job interview I have done for a while and it’s been so rewarding and fulfilling for so long I feel so much more comfortable in the world than ever and it’s just a lot more rewarding than the other people have done in my career so thank goodness
Applied online, got an email for an in-person interview, answered basic lab safety questions, basic chemistry, and basic result reporting, then took a tour around the lab. Hiring process took about 5 weeks, give or take because of the holidays.
