      Research Analyst Interview

      7 Mar 2021
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ipsos (New York, NY) in Mar 2021

      Interview

For the General Ipsos Analyst Development Program because of Covid the process was completely online. The first step was a one-way interview with a couple of questions. You had one try to answer all of them and a time limit of about 90 seconds. After there was a phone call with the recruiter asking basic interview questions (and asking about salary/the job). Next there was an hour assessment with 11 questions that cover math, logic, time management and writing. It's important to time manage or you won't finish - don't try to spend too much time on a question if you can't figure it out. Last is the final interviews - 3 30 min back to back to interviews with directors and then a 30 min peer networking event. The first interview was to get to know your background and experience to see if it fit the role, then the next asked logic situational questions, and the last asked hypothical questions. In the peer networking, there are two analyst that are currently in the program. This helps you answer all the questions you may have about the program (don't worry they aren't part of the interview process they said, but come prepared with questions). The next day I got a call of the recruiter offering me a position. The overall process was really long and kind of difficult - the other reviews here helped with preparing. Advice: be yourself and show how interested you are. Brush up on some case questions for the assessment.
