An external recruiter reached out to me about this opportunity. The recruiter was in a rush to find candidates and expedite the recruiting process. The recruiter indicated that the process can happen as quickly as 1 week seeing that they were looking to significantly expand their marketing side of their Customer & Operations practice but wanted to discuss salary expectations upfront. This lead to there being 3 phone screens with two recruiters (external & internal) about the salary range I am looking for in order to make a jump from my current firm; this was the first red flag seeing that I was told that what I was looking for was way too high for their firm. For the actual interview, were three rounds: two phones interviews and an on-site interview in St. Louis with three of their senior leaders. I did all three rounds plus an additional phone call with another KPMG manager over the span of 4 weeks and when it came time for the internal recruiter to follow up with me on if I was being presented an offer or not, I was ignored when I followed up via phone / email and never contacted.
