There were several consecutive steps: 1. Received a logic test where you find the next pattern in the series 2. Received a coding challenge to analyze a very big data set, visualizing the dataset was also a part of the challenge 3. Interview with the director of the department 4. Interview with the manager of the team 5. Traveled to their office in Berlin, and went through following steps there: 6. Performed the logic test (again) 7. Behavioral interview with the manager 8. Technical interview with another engineer and head of another department 9. Technical interview with another head of department 10. Technical interview with manager of department 11. Sent my Master and Bachelor's degrees and transcripts Finally, after waiting for a week I received a negative response that my university is not recognized in Germany. I don't know how this is concluded because my university is listed as a recognized university indeed. I let them know about it and received no response. Then, I received another offer and let them know I need an urgent response. I think they didn't like that and responded to me in 5 minutes that they will not be moving forward with my application. Having invested more than 3 full days in challenges, interviews, travel, preparation of documents and receiving positive feedback, I expected them to be more careful and responsive. Overall, I feel negative about the process because it was very long and tiresome. Thankfully, I received another offer to move forward with.
