Interview
I was applied online for the Analyst job in Berlin. They sent me an online test which was easy to pass. First interview is with HR. HR was one of the most competent I have ever interviewed. I was asked typical motivational questions related to Klarna and fintech. HR could answer the technical questions I asked as well. I have been told there would be an another technical round, and if that would be successful I will be invited to Berlin to meet the team. Second round was with a team lead in analytics department. It was a business case of the comparison of the effectiveness of two marketing projects. It lasted around 1 hour. I got an e-mail from Klarna after the second interview called "Relocation Support". They asked me to send bunch of documents (residence permit, passport, diploma) to assess the ease of visa application and relocation support. Then I heard nothing for a month. I tried to reach them from every possible ways I could. I tried many phone numbers, went to their office at Amsterdam, sent out e-mails etc. Then I sent an e-mail to the team lead that I had the interview. He replied me that the HR went on an holiday and asked me for another interview. We did the second interview and I could not pass. They sent me an e-mail withouth any explanation that I failed. It was by far the most disrespectful interview experience I have ever had. Asking for the relocation support and going black for a month, then asking for another interview and not giving any type of explanation was an extremely bad type of behavior on their side.

Business Case questions related to marketing campaigns/profitability analysis
The process felt fairly structured but not overwhelming. It started with an initial recruiter call, where I was asked about my background, motivation, and what I knew about Klarna. Next came a business case round – the case was straightforward, focusing on interpreting simple product data and explaining trends without over-complicating things. The final stage was a team/manager interview, which leaned more on behavioral questions like how I handle conflicts, my career goals, and why I wanted Klarna specifically. Overall, the case was on the easier side, and the main challenge was presenting confidently and showing cultural fit.

Interview
It was 3 round interview process.
1 - chat with a recruiter, very generic, where they explained the company values and the taks
2 - This was a very easy business case without the possibility to use calculator, there was an imaginary product to lunch in a market and they were showing some graphs. Very very easy and to be performed in front of a Senior Analyst.
3 - Interview with the hiring manager and the team. Vey easy questions regarding how I handle conflicts and what would I do in certain scenaros.

4 rounds interview then paused due to company reorganisation . Interviewers are generally quite nice but the hiring system sounds bit unprofessional. Interviews were with HR and different members in the team.
