Applied in October for the position "product analyst" that had a general description of tasks and requirement (later I was going to know that they have many different teams where they were searching for data analyst, and it is in a more future stage where you know for what team you are a good fit).
After applying I got an email to do a Kattis online logical test. 18 questions of logical reasoning.
Time passed and I never heard anything back from them, so I forgot about it. In March I got an email to schedule a first call interview with HR. This lasted around 30mins- 1 hour. He was very nice, explained everything regarding the company and position (here is when they told me about the different options) They asked me what I knew about the company and about my background and interests.
Few days later I got a request to do the logical online test again, this time "supervised". This was via hangouts, same test, but with someone there. (Didn't have to share screen or anything, I also didn't got the feeling that the person was "watching" me).
After that, I passed on to the next round, where I was going to meet via hangouts 2 data scientist and the team lead of the team.
2 hours interview, first hour a business case. This was pretty basic, "consultant" style. You get some information and numbers (percentages, purchases, estimations , etc.) about a fictional company and the question is "would you advise klarna to acquire that company based on this numbers". He was very nice, walked me through the case and did the mathematics analysis on the computer. (I was expecting a business case more into data analytics, maybe basic sql or excel pivots) But just prepare for a business case! (When you have the opportunity for asking anything else you need to, ask what is the price of each product! thats the first step, because they´ll give you information regarding the "transactions".
The next hour is an interview regarding your cultural fit. They ask questions like "tell me about a time that you..." imagine anything!! and answer around the klarna values. They tell you to answer using the STAR method.
(everything was via hangouts due to the covid-19 situation)
