The company's recruitment process is thorough but potentially excessive for a mid-level position. Initial steps were efficient, with a quick response and straightforward coding tasks. Then logic test - the inclusion of a mandatory logic test with a 100% pass requirement seems unnecessarily stringent and its relevance to the role is questionable.
However, the process became problematic during the behavioral interview. The interviewer's approach was questionable, seemingly rejecting valid answers without clear explanation.
As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, I decided to withdraw from the recruitment process at this stage.
The planned subsequent stages, including architectural and coding interviews followed by a managerial interview, suggest a lengthy and complex hiring process. For a mid-level role requiring office attendance in Berlin, this multi-stage approach may be overly demanding and time-consuming.
The entire process (4 stages out of 7) took 2 months.
