      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2016

      Interview

What a positive and professional experience. I had the fortune of having a great recruiter, Shannon Weeman, and a great hiring manager, Katie Baudler. The process was quick, responsive and smooth. All the instructions are very clear and you are given enough information to prepare for every stage of the interview process: 1. phone screen (20 mins) 2. mock call / interview over the phone (1hr 10mins) 3. mock call / interview on site with a group (1hr 10 mins). I genuinely felt like people cared about my career, messages and emails were warm and can confidently say that LinkedIn is the leader in diversity recruiting in the tech industry. Many companies are very superficial about diversity programs, LinkedIn does it right! Even though I didn't get the offer, people have shown continued interest in me and they are actively helping me to find a position that could be a better fit for me. Thank you LinkedIn for a wonderful experience.

      Interview

Was relatively simple. You had a call with the recruiter, a take home discovery pitch assignment, then a call with the hiring manager, and then another call with the hiring manager doing a mock discovery call.
