I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in May 2017
Interview
The entire process went incredibly smoothly and quickly; it took about one month total and only one and half weeks after the first interview. I was referred internally and contacted by a recruiter about three weeks after I applied online. The initial phone screening lasted about 30 minutes and the recruiter (and the recruiting coordinator) were incredibly amiable and made the entire process very easy/straightforward. They were very professional. The first phone screening was followed by two phone screenings with members of the team I was applying for and the final two rounds were combined while I was onsite. At the onsite I met with various members of the team, who all asked behavior questions (company fit, organization style, work experience, etc.).

Most everyone very nice except one gentleman who wasn’t even paying attention during the interview, would look away while I gave answers to laugh with others around him and would yawn and ignore your answers, not even realizing for up to 20 seconds that you were done answering.
