One month after I applied, I got an email with an invitation to participate in the Merck Virtual Assessment (workstyle and competency based questionnaires, video introduction). After completion of the online assessment, I received a feedback report about my strengths and weaknesses based on my answers. Few days later I was invited to the telephone interview with an HR. The questions were typical behavioral ones in addition to the questions related to my background and motivation to apply for the program. The next step would have been the assessment center in Darmstadt, but unfortunately, I was not invited. I asked for the feedback regarding my application, and luckily for me, I received a very helpful feedback and a few tips on how can I improve in the future (give more details, sell yourself and your skills, be more self-confident and extroverted, etc.)
