Interview
The first step was a phone screen with the recruiter who asked general questions about my background, current job, etc. From there, I was invited in for a 1st round on-site interview that lasted an hour. The on-site was a mix of getting-to-know you questions alongside in-depth questions on recommendations for better leveraging FB tools and plugins, potential partnerships, etc. Afterwards, the recruiter set up time to talk by phone and let me know the role wasn't a fit but that she'd pass my resume along to other teams.

Submit the application, get the acknowledge email and can lick the convenience time for first call.
Then got an phone call for first scanning I guess.
Just normal step which is about yourself, expected salary and available time to join.

STandard Phone INterview for 1st Round than moving towards on site interview or video interview, depending on location. Afterwards Final Round on site.

Interview
The interview was a three stage process - The first was the Recruiter followed by a Hiring Manager that was followed by a Panel. The Recruiter discussion was very focussed on my resume and the cover letter that I had submitted. While its optional, I would recommend that if applying to FB do submit a cover note. Recruiter had diligently read my cover note and had asked me few specific questions. Hiring Manager discussion was quite informal and comfortable. Panel needed a decent amount of prep and recruiter supported me on background of the panel and evaluation mechanism.
