Farcical interview in which two people were given an invite and link to the same virtual interview. Confusion followed when the interviewer arrived wondering why there were two of us. It was funny at the time, but for the four solid days wasted on interview prep.
No acknowledgement, no apology, no comment whatsoever from Meta.

Interview
PRO Limited connected me with the in-person interview. Thats when things changed. The person that interviews you for this type of role has to follow a script. She was a robot reading her laptop. She didnt genuinely care about my answers nor about me personally. I was just another head she was interviewing that day. I will never apply nor waste my time in applying for this company. They are all white people. There's no diversity and inclusion in the interview process. Yes they interview people of color because they are connected with lots of organizations and thats where they pull POC to screen but thats just to document that they do it. But do they hire POC - brown/blacks, nope. Mainly Indians and Asians & white people.
Dont waste your time here because the commute is NOT worth it if you are coming from downtown Oakland!
In addition they make you wait 2-3 months to hear back if you passed for the next step to do the in-person interview. Thats a lot of time wasted for talented people to wait for the position to be potentially offered. People have to survive and eat. They dont have time to wait for a low-paying opportunity to just hear back on updates of the interview process. Ridiculous right?
If your fresh out of college, work at a start up to get as much experience and gain grit to succeed. Push yourself to work hard, or get a sales job to learn how to build relationships and put yourself out there. Dont fall into the trend of these types of companies that gained in popularity because its just a fad. You are just a number at the end of the day.
