Nordstrom actually asked many questions and I had to interview with the sales manager, as well as the human resource manager. They asked questions about customer service, specifically asking how I went out of my way for a customer and questions of how I satisfied customers, etc.

Describe how you went out of your way for a customer that was not neccessarily listed in your job title?
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
Was inside Barton creek mall, hiring manager was prompt and clear with questions ranging from how I would handle difficult customers, to my personal experiences that could apply to the job.
