Interview
I applied online and got and email to schedule a phone interview in the next 3 days. She called 30 minutes after my scheduled time and only asked my availability. I’m still in school and I applied for a PART TIME job. I said I’m free from 1- close and available anytime on the weekends which I thought was a lot of availability. The job description said they were flexible but she continued to go on about how I needed to be fully flexible with my schedule.
Easy and quick open interviews. First job and where I learned to dress right and work hard. Still to this day use the customer service skills learned here. Moved from cashier to sales quickly.
It was a group interview with a few other candidates. We were all greeted and taken into an office room where the interview took place. One of the managers conducted the interview.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your previous work experience? What do you know about Nordstrom's?
Overall pretty easy. Talked with general manager and they weren't looking for much experience. I just talked about why I wanted the job and how I was qualified. The role was open for a few weeks before I found it so I knew they were a little desperate.
