I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman in Jan 2015
Interview
The first round consists of one cv-based interview and one case interview. The case was about estimation of the purchasing power of Chinese people.
The second round has three cases and one cv-based interview. The cases are a bit non-traditional and few frameworks can fit. You really need to understand the business to solve them. The interviewers are very friendly and would guide you through the cases. But you need to be proactively structure your upfront before going into any branch of the case.
I got the rejection two days after the interview. The concern they had was I needed too much guidance during the interview. But I really learned a lot out of it.

Interview
First, we are given an AI interview with questions to answer on video. They only give 45 s to answer questions. Then there was a face-to-face interview, where it is 2 x 45 mins, where it is the same thing with 2 different people on seperate occasions.
First you take an online assessment. There are two rounds. First is one hour: half case, half behavioral. The first round is with younger analysts. Everyone was nice and supportive, also was on zoom.
2 rounds
R1: 30 min case 30 min behavioral. Case and behavioral weren’t difficult and seemed more like a vibe check.
R2: 2 x 30 min cases and 30 min behavioral (this interview was with much mkre Senior leadership)
