      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo in Mar 2011

      Interview

One on one on a a college campus. It was fairly straight forward and to the point. The route sales job is not a technical position and would be really easy.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about an experience when you had to overcome an objection and how did you handle it

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Appleton, WI)

      Interview

Management was very easy going, easy to talk to, and you interviewed with two people. It was a good experience. They gave me a chance when I had no experience. The interview was done in the boardroom and we all fed off of each others questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked if I had any Class B driving experience, or a class B driver's license. They also asked why I was interested in working for Pepsi. They wanted to know if lifting up to 75 pounds is going to be a difficulty.

      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2013

      Interview

First you have to apply online and pass on online screening. They basically get either a green, yellow, or red light on the other end depending on how well you score and that's generated by the computer system. If you get the green light, management will call you in to take basic math and logic test as well as submit your driving record for the last 3 years. For this you must go to the DMV and request it. If that goes well, they will call you back for an interview which often include a 3 person panel. If you pass everything else, they will send you for a drug test and submit for a background check covering the last 10 years. Drug test is usually done by hair sample and not just a pee test. .

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask psychological questions like, what would you do if a customer comes up to you while you're in a store and asks you for something unrelated to your product? Do you help them anyways, refer them to an employee or tell them you don't actually work for the store?
