Interview
The virtual interview went smoothly. A combination of behavioral and technical questions. The employees I talked to were all friendly and easy to start and maintain a conversation with. However, the company promised a code challenge for the next step, which I never received. The HR first ghosted me for a month, then came up with various reasons why they were delaying the release of the challenge (hiring manager in the hospital), and finally said they were going with another candidate after two more weeks. It all felt like they were buying themselves more time to assess the other candidate while leaving me hanging as a second choice.
