I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Houston, TX) in Jun 2024
Interview
Pretty mid. Video interview is a little awkward. Like everyone says practice STAR format. I had a long interview asking my recruiter questions & them telling me about the role. I thought it went very well & they confirmed that it did. Then boom, "we're not really hiring right now otherwise we'd definitely give you an offer." I felt like they wasted my time. But hey......what can i do about that now?

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer.
It was a fairly lengthly process which involved the application, an assessment, pre-recorded one way interview, and a live virtual interview. Asked behavior-based STAR questions. It was extensive with at least 10 questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Allentown, PA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process is extensive, there are several levels after applying for the position. Initially there are several questions to answer followed by a video interview with Behavioral questions to be answered in their STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) followed by the following interview with an actual manager. This interview was also answering additional behavioral questions in the STAR format and answering several other questions. After all was said and done. I received an e-mail informing me they went a different direction.
