I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Portland, OR) in Mar 2015
Interview
It was extremely easy. I was able to figure out the correct the answers within seconds. The main thing you want to focus on is how you dress because that seems like the main thing on what they are looking for. The questions were just a no-brainer and getting hired there seems to be really easy.

Question 1
how do you manage to handle at a angry customer? How many days should an employee miss work per month? Do you think you can handle this job? Why Ross?
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
