I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2014
Interview
1) Call with recruiter (initial screen to ensure you have been successful at carrying quota and to validate salary expectations)
2) Call with Sales manager (understanding day to day of your current role, success at past company, types of deals/clients you worked with)
3) Panel Interview (walk through of resume)
4) Presentation with panel (deal review/background/30-60-90 day plan)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
-Walk through a sales cycle
-What did you do that was different from anyone else in that seat
-What would you have done differently
-What is your weakness/warning about yourself
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Question 1
Explain your sales process
How do you perform outreach
Describe a deal won
Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
