TL;DR: Though it was a long process, it was very informative and a great way to know more about the company. My initial meeting with HR was a telephone interview that lasted about 45 minutes -- very high level about Slalom's work, culture and what they are about. This meeting seemed to focus more on fit than actual responsibilities of the role. My second and third phone interviews were with a consultant and a manager -- we spoke about their current role and why they decided to make the switch to Slalom from bigger consulting firms. Very informal, more of a conversation than an interview which was interesting. My fourth and fifth interview were in person with consultants and potential peers I'd be working with. Again, though it was very conversational we discussed responsibilities, previous work, soft/hard skills and future career plans with or without Slalom. Sixth and Seventh interviews were with the practice area director and the GM -- very informative, learnt more about the overall strategy and goals of Slalom. Bit nerve-racking at first but they were both really nice and the conversation flowed easily after 10 minutes or so. Each interview ranged from 30 minutes -- 2 hours and my HR contact followed up with me every step of the way and let me know what to expect at each stage. The employees I spoke with were extremely nice and their obvious passion for their job and Slalom was infectious. The office culture seemed really cool as well -- when I walked in for my in person interviews there was a sort of table tennis (??) tournament going on.
