If you are on a deadline don’t count on Spotify.
The process for three rounds took 3 months.
2 months, after having applied with a referral, a recruiter emailed me. Next he/she emailed me an assessment test consisting of a personality test a reasoning, visual, and mathematics test. It took 1 hour.
Following that I had a phone screen with the recruiter.
Lastly I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager.
I wasn’t asked to the 4th round and not given a reason.
Overall I was surprised by the amount of time they dragged the process out, but impressed by some of the processes they used to vet their talent.
In speaking to a vendor (marketing agency) the agency told a similar story to how Spotify vetted them before being on boarded as a client.
That being said talent should not hope for a fast hiring process at Spotify, but know it is for good reason and is probably the result of having such a qualified work force.
