I applied and got a very fast response from the recruiter. Had an initial call that went fine. I was told someone from scheduling would contact me about interviews.
Two weeks passed and I heard nothing until I got an email from the same recruiter saying how it was good to talk and someone from scheduling would contact me — the kind of email you normally receive immediately after a phone call not two weeks later. So I fell off the radar, no big deal.
So I have my phone screen on a Thursday. Was mostly fine. Nothing unreasonable, though having to just talk generally about a project you worked on, with no specifics on what the interviewers want to know about it was a bit daunting, but I think this is fairly standard in Spotify from the impression I got.
Shortly after (still Thursday) I get an email from the recruiter saying they were moving forward and I could either let her call when free or book some time in her calendar. Since the next slot was Friday, and I already knew I passed, I booked a slot on Friday, just to know when to expect the call. The whole day passes and I hear nothing.
I understand things come up, including things where you might not even have a chance to cancel. So I sent an email that evening in, and just said if something came up, that Monday was also fine.
I never received any response at all in over a week and counting. Not exactly a great impression.
