Initial 45 minute scheduled call with a recruiter that only took about 15. Then after a couple of weeks with no word, I was notified that I'd have a Zoom interview with what would be my boss's boss. It was fairly preliminary, as he was just getting a feel for my music sensibilities. This ended with being given an assignment to create 2 playlists, one 50 songs, the other 100 songs.
Then, after another week or two I was notified that I'd be having 5 more interviews over the course of two days. I was told that if it wasn't for covid this would've just been me hanging at the office for a day. These went most well, but as it was people from different departments I was thrown off by some of the questions. Lastly, I once again talked to the second guy I spoke to, nd we discussed my playlist picks a bit and again, the overall state of the music industry.
Another couple weeks I recieved an email saying they wanted to hop on a call to "touchbase", which, of course, meant I didn't get it.
Overall a not that painless process, just lots of waiting and being ready for any questions.

Very long interview process for a non-tech role. I had 6 interviews, with almost everyone on the whole team before I got a rejection email. Everyone was very nice and professional.

That was a standard interview process, which involved initial contact by HR, followed by separate interviews with three distinct team members. Questions focused on assessing experience and cultural fit within the organization.

Initial 20 minute call with someone in HR just to discuss experience, interest, benefits. Second interview was 30 minute video call with a local Head of Editorial, and final interviews were two 30 minute video calls, one with another Editor and one with Head of US Editorial. Final assignment required making example playlists. Entire process lasted over 2.5 months with very little communication in between rounds - I often had to follow up multiple times to even get a response on when I should hear next steps.
