I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Spotify (Eme) in Mar 2022
Interview
Probably one of the longest interview process that I have ever experienced.
After almost three months of interviewing, when I finally met up with the HM in order to discuss the outcome of the process, he tells me that the position I applied for was closed 1 week before I did the last interview, and that there was another position open if I was interested.
Definitely not worth the time, as you may end up thinking that you waste 3 months of your life.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Spotify (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
1. Got a call from the HR and shared my resume
2. Talked to HR and started the initial process.
3. First round is having a conversation with a couple of folks and some coding.
Just an update - one the interviewer is intimidating and wanted to code in some online tool where the interviewer and interviewee can see the code and make changes.
One of the interviewers also wants me to share my complete screen and I did. I don't think they trust people.
I finished the coding and showed them the expected output. Looks like they did not like the way I wrote the code.
