I sent in my CV and cover letter with an application, I then did a number of psycho metrics (numerical, verbal and spacial) then an assessment day which involved a 1:1 with a senior engineer, a group activity and a 1:1 where i was asked about scenario you were in which show teamwork and leadership, etc
