I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Kalamazoo, MI) in May 2016
Interview
The interviews themselves were fairly standard and covered just about everything a prospective employee might need to know. In my case, the hiring process took about 2 months - which led directly to my short term employment with Thermo. One of the other job leads I was cultivating during that waiting period called me back with a better offer.

Question 1
I felt that the traits that got me hired were a good attitude about problem solving and my familiarity with potentially dangerous chemicals.
It was very professional and straight to the point. I was also asked about my legal status in the United States. An offer was made and date of resumption was discussed on the assumption that I got the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Glasgow, Scotland) in Sept 2020
Interview
Phone interview very informal, feels more like a chat than a actual interview process, also adding this because its a thirty word minimum which is very silly in my opinion
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2018
Interview
HR will only contact you through email so you must watch it Thoroughly. They take a long time to send you for an interview. After the interview HR will beat around the bush before they get back to you even if the employer wants to hire you. They don't seem to really care about wasting your time.
