I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY) in Jan 2014
Interview
two rounds of emails, phone calls then in person interview with team and h r representative. overall very simple and much expected questions were asked. most of the interview was them selling the position rather than the other way around (should be a warning sign to all)
The interview process was smooth and efficient. It included an initial HR screening to review my qualifications, a technical assessment to test my skills, and a final interview with the hiring manager to discuss.
After submitting my online application, I waited approximately two weeks before being invited to the first-stage task assignment (R1). This was followed by a video interview (R2), an in-person office interview (R3), and finally an HR interview (R4). The entire recruitment process took around five weeks to complete from application to final stage.

I applied through university. I interviewed at UBS (Houston, TX) in Feb 2026
Interview
Very laid back interview. Just walked through my resume, why asset management, and overall just behaviorals. There were zero technical questions, and the interviewer was more curious about my leadership, experiences specifically from my previous internship.
