Written test which contains logical, general questions and technical in person interview where they asked about OOPS concepts and coding questions like palindrome, prime numbers and some sql questions like finding 2nd highest salary, store procedures, indexes, primary key, foreign key etc

Basic questions related to OOPS concepts like class, objects and they asked to write logics to some programs
It took 2 months - 1 online interview, 1 phone interview and 1 interview with hiring manager and the team. The hiring manager's very friendly and the team put me at ease.

At the time it seemed like a fair process. Not long after I was hired, my roll and responsibilities changed significantly from what was described in the job description and discussed in the hiring interviews.

They wanted me to describe some of my experience with relatively new web application design and development.

Interview
I had two phone interviews with developers for a competency test. This involved COBOL questions. I submitted some sample code to the developers as part of a question. Then I spoke to my manager twice. We discussed my CV and what the position was. The questions related to my previous project work and the nature of the teams I worked with.
