I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Mar 2012
Interview
People were very friendly. I can't say much about the recruiter, but the hiring manager and team were all very impressive. I met with five people during my first interview. Some asked case related questions, and some were entirely behavioral. If you seem too qualified, come prepared to ask why you want to work at Wayfair
This was probably the most unprofessional process I’ve ever experienced. I had my recruiter call and 1:1, which were fine. By the time I got to the panel that’s where difficulties showed. They had to reschedule my panel multiple times, including when I was in the waiting room waiting for the interviewer and after 15 minutes it kicked me out because they never showed.
Relatively quick and straight forward. No take home assessment as part of the interview process. Technical portion of the
interview occurred in the panels and was simple, more so testing ability to think through problems
very structured process where you know what you're getting into from the recruiter. first is with recruiter, then hiring manager, a technical aptitude test, then more interview rounds with higher ups. Didn't make it past hiring manager round.
