Received a phone interview, then was asked to come in for an interview at their headquarters. Upon arrival, I was asked to sit in a room, and they closed the clear doors. I sat there for about 10 minutes until the first interviewer can in and asked me about my resume, my experience, and then did a mock sales pitch with me. They then left, I waited again for over 10 minutes and the next person came in, did the same sort of getup with different questions. Waited again, then the last person came in. This was more of a human conversation, haha, where they actually explained more about the company. They then told me they really liked me, and my experience, and told me when they would be adding a new group of employees in a month or so. They asked if I was interested, and I said yes, and they said they would send a follow up email with details.
I then received an email saying they were not interested, and had gone forward with different candidates. To say I was a bit annoyed is an understatement. I was able to put up with what seemed like a immature interview setup, based on the fact I had sales experience, and had interviewed and worked for various types of companies. But still...it struck me as really rude the way that I was practically asked if I wanted the job, told when they would be starting, then sent an email stating otherwise.
I've told everyone about my experience, and it left me with a bad impression of the company. I don't use or endorse them anymore.
