We're hiring; Admin Assistant wanted!
We are looking for an admin assistant to join our team, working in our main HQ office in Blackwell, Derbyshire.
Experience within the Utilities sector and some experience with A55 B’s, closures of work for payment, line search and general Utilities admin duties are a massive plus, training can be given to the right candidate.
◾Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and keep track of details.
◾Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
◾ Computer Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential. Familiarity with other office software or CRM systems can also be a plus.
◾ Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
◾ Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify issues and find practical solutions.
◾ Interpersonal Skills: Professional and friendly demeanor, with the ability to work well with others.
◾ Discretion and Confidentiality: Handling sensitive information with integrity.
Role Tasks:
◾ General Administrative Support
◾ Managing Correspondence: Handling emails and mail.
◾ Answering Phones: Directing calls, taking messages, and providing information.
◾ Maintaining Records: Organising and updating physical and electronic files.
◾ Data Entry: Inputting and updating information in databases or spreadsheets.
◾ Office Supplies: Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
