Pros

Great company, one of the more progressive law firms.

Cons

No career development for entry level HR (Assistants, Coordinators) lack of exposure to legitimate HR work and the poor leadership in ASC People creates an unhealthy work culture and multitude of issues which block you from success. If you're looking for a supportive environment and career progression, you are best off elsewhere.

Pros

I got to work in a great team working on cool problem Great culture with my immediate team Good direct management Emerging culture of innovation Great perks

Cons

Long hours for Australian teams, expected to work late to make meetings with the UK. Too many meetings for everything, limited time to actually get work done. Political infighting You are less valued if you are not a lawyer Less career progression if you are not a lawyer Management is very top-down Too many people in management trying to drag the company in different directions Most of the management team is in the UK and Australian staff have less opportunities and influence.
