Pros
Friendly team, supportive coworkers. Managers are helpful and encouraging. Work from home.
Cons
The VCC (call center) is honestly difficult to work for. For the simple reason of holidays and time off. Upper management encourages self care and work like balance —but getting time off approved is a nightmare. There is only one person per team allowed off per day and then time off is closed. You’re better off calling off on a day that you need —and taking a point. Yes —you’re on a point system. I was told when I was hired that you’re required to work 1 holiday a year —makes since because we’re a call center. However, this was never the case. Most recently we have to work ~8 (including summer holidays; 4th of july, Memorial Day, and Veterans Day, mlk day, etc). If you work here for VCC CRL, get used to cancelling family vacations and not seeing family on holidays.
