    Pros

Dynamic environment, super intelligent coworkers, nice people. The creative is beautiful and inspiring. You will learn a lot initially. Gorgeous office and great IT. Quite efficient processes.

    Cons

Difficult to move around the company or advance. If you aren't on the digital side you will languish. Certain departments are cool and if you aren't in one of those you will feel very excluded. Middle and lower level employees are very removed from senior management and decision makers. Although marketing is great, product itself is not strong.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees to be able to learn new skills and try new departments. Do more to foster employee growth and mobility.

I worked at Burberry full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Good brand
    -Staff discount
    -Easy to sell

    Cons

-Managers seem to be hired through the Dilbert Principle.
    -Managers are extremely incompetent.
-Contradicting instructions and quiet bullying by managers into resignation.
-Terrible company culture. Employees and managers are encouraged to backstab one another.
-The IT devices fail all the time, so if there's an issue, it will take ages to resolve it.

    Advice to Management

I would rather give advice to HR but not to management: hire leaders who can actually lead people, hire managers who are honest and decent. I know this may sound naive for you but Burberry will do better if they hire honest, educated managers with an actual brain. Your managers are such a disrepute to Burberry. Whoever in HR leads this tendency, brings Burberry to this terrible situation. In a year or two, you will see the efforts from your hiring. Burberry will face its final downfall.
I would NEVER recommend to work for Burberry to anyone.
