Childish-Tribal Enviroment - Claims Specialist Aviva Employee Review

Tribe like environment with people who are in management that don't really know how to manage people but get the job through years of service or boot licking. There seems to be a lot of supervision and micromanagement and school like behavior around the office. Around 60% of my colleagues are school leavers. They sell you hopes and dreams of pay increases through each step but try their hardest not to progress you through the steps and brutally critique your work before having no excuses to not progress you. Pay is terrible, £1400 a month after benefits and pension/tax is taken.
