Pros
Remote working. There are some nice colleagues in the mix. Some of the learning opportunities are interesting.
Cons
The business that I joined and the business I am currently employed by, are no longer the same. I have to admit, watching this company get chipped away at little by little has been like watching a car accident in slow motion but you’re helpless to do anything about it. I have seen more than enough disgruntled colleagues and employees leave the business for other opportunities because they simply do not feel valued enough and I am at that stage also. I think that the senior leadership team especially need to be more visible and involved with day or day colleagues who are doing the work. The co-ordination and planning teams in the background are absolutely sick to the back teeth of never getting any recognition even though are the glue that holds our departments together. You’ve got consultation after consultation happening and you’re either letting go of the wrong staff, or the right staff are leaving before they are made redundant. It is ridiculous HOW many passionate and loyal colleagues you’ve lost in the last 12 months. Do better.
