Pros

- Decent comp - Hybrid (can get away with just coming in twice a week)

Cons

Only work here as a placeholder or if you have no other offers. The second you join, you should spend time applying to other companies. The stacked ranking nature of performance management in this company is absurd to the point of parody. The second you come in, even if it's in the middle of the year, you will be immediately competing against people at your level that have worked at the company for longer and know their product while you are beginning to get adjusted, and are expected to outcompete them. In effect, you have ZERO up-ramp time. There are no concrete numbers on the bottom percentage of engineers that get PIP'd, but I wouldn't be surprised at 12%. It is not uncommon to be hired and PIP'd after 4 months of working there.

Pros

Well-run company that knows its values and lives them out. They hire well, and trust people to do their jobs, and people almost always do. Very tech-forward, and adopts the current tech meta quite well.

Cons

Performance management is a double edged sword. It feels intense, but I get why they do it. And helps me reflect on where Im at. Small price to pay

Pros

Environment was good, food was decent, free food at my location (dont know if it was allowed but it was good)

Cons

The rittenhouse location is managed by a tyrant, he is an incredibly toxic man and upper management make it the most unbearable place to work. Andy will ask you to come in on days you're not scheduled, and then hold it over your head if you don't. Talks about employees behind their backs constantly. No respect enforced employees talked about each other all the time and there was even name calling in meetings, management did nothing. Worst place I've ever worked in my life frankly and affected my mental health in the worst way. Glad to be out out of there. The place itself has potential but the management at the Rittenhouse branch and above them is absolutely terrible in every regard.
